The Department of Health is offering Nursing Learnership opportunities for 2027 intake across various provincial hospitals. This 24-month programme provides accredited training in auxiliary nursing, combining theoretical instruction with practical clinical experience.

Eligibility Requirements

 

To be considered for the Department of Health Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizenship

  • Grade 12 with Life Sciences and English

  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old

  • Must be passionate about healthcare

  • Ability to work under pressure in a hospital environment
