Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Department of Agriculture Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
South African citizenship
Completed Grade 12 with a Bachelor's pass (minimum 60% in Mathematics or Agricultural Sciences and English)
Accepted or currently enrolled at a recognized South African university for an agriculture-related qualification
Demonstrated financial need (combined household income not exceeding R350,000 per annum)
Strong academic record with minimum 60% average
Must be willing to work in rural agricultural development after graduation
Not in receipt of any other government-funded bursary
