Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the SAICA Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
South African citizenship
Completed Grade 12 with a Bachelor's pass and strong results in Mathematics (minimum 60%) and English (minimum 60%)
Accepted or currently enrolled at a SAICA-accredited university for a CIMA or CA(SA) pathway qualification
Demonstrated financial need (household income below R600,000 per annum)
Strong academic record with a minimum 65% average in core subjects
Must be a motivated and dedicated individual with leadership potential
Not in receipt of any other full-cost bursary
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:
Certified copy of South African ID document
Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate
Full tertiary academic record and proof of registration (if currently studying)
Proof of acceptance at a SAICA-accredited university
A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)
A motivational letter detailing your career aspirations in accounting
Proof of household income (parents'/guardians' salary advices or sworn affidavit)
Two academic reference letters
