SAPOA is the South African Property Owners Association, representing the commercial property sector. It promotes professional standards in property development and management.

 

About the Bursary Programme

 

SAPOA is offering Bursaries for the 2027 Academic year to students pursuing property development and related qualifications.

 

Fields of Study

  • Property Development

  • Real Estate Management

  • Urban Planning

  • Quantity Surveying

 

Eligibility Requirements

 

To be considered for the SAPOA Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizenship

  • Completed Grade 12 with a Bachelor's pass (minimum 60% in Mathematics and English)

  • Accepted or currently enrolled at a recognized South African university

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • Strong academic record with minimum 65% average

  • Must be passionate about the property and construction industry

  • Not in receipt of any other full-cost bursary

 

Required Documents

 

Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:

  • Certified copy of South African ID document

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate

  • Full academic record (if currently studying)

  • Proof of acceptance or registration at a recognized institution

  • A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • A motivational letter expressing your interest in property

  • Proof of household income (parents'/guardians' payslips or affidavit)
